Stay Up-to-date
January Jamz was a success. I received a lot of positive feedback from the project, and now I'm working on The Pin full-time. I am using FL Studio 11 to produce the tracks for the album, and I'm working with the producers from Life Sentence to make the tracks as emotion-filled as the album is going to be. I still don't know how long the album will be, but I will keep you guys updated.
On January 23rd, I performed for United Against Human Trafficking to help raise awareness for human trafficking. The event went smooth, and I am excited for what's to come. I won't be releasing that many songs this year because I'll be working on the album, but I'll be putting my all into it, so I hope that when it's finished, you'll love it.

Tomorrow I will be releasing the first song for January Jamz. The title of the song is: "You Ain't Know?! (Feat. Dependable Skeleton).
Over the past month, I have been out meeting new people, talking with fans, and planning for the future. I have recruited ten people for my independent group Life Sentence and I am super excited for what's to come. I have just distributed "Book 1: The Beginning" to stores like iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, Google Play, and many more. After January Jamz, I will spend a lot of my time producing the tracks to "The Pin." I will be working with my executive producers JNTN Beatz and Pr0Beats to get a solid track list and I will be going right to work. There is a lot to do, and not enough time to do it, but hopefully everything will work out just fine. I ordered an SM58 wireless microphone for performance purposes. I have been looking at this mic for some time now, and I finally decided that it would be wise to purchase it. I'm very excited for its arrival and I can't wait for my performance on the 23rd. Two weeks ago, I went to an event called Link Up Greater Houston at Houston Community College. At the event, I learned a lot about myself as a person. I met two DJs and a very important woman. Her name is Jenna Cooper. She asked me if I wanted to perform for her awareness for human trafficking event that is taking place on January 23rd, 2016, and I said yes. I will be creating a song that tells a story of a girl who was kidnapped and forced into sex trafficking. I have already written one verse and now I'm working on the chorus and the second verse. The address of the event is 1302 Dennis Street in Midtown, Houston and it will start at 4:30pm. On another note, I have almost finished up with January Jamz. I have some minor changes to fix and then I will be releasing the pre-ordered songs.
I have just started production of the CD labels for January Jamz. I have three of the four songs recorded, but over the next two weeks the recording process should be completed. Then it's just a matter of mixing the vocals with the beats.
I will be doing pre-order sales to anyone who wants a copy of the January Jamz collection for $2 each. The pre-ordered CDs will be signed, but hurry, because once 2016 starts, pre-orders will no longer be available. If you want a copy, make sure to email me before the end of the year. After January Jamz is completed, I will begin searching for open mic events to perform at around Houston. My goal is to extend my fanbase and spread my message. I already have a pretty loyal group of people following me, but I want to expand further. Recently, I've heard some great news from one of my fans. As you know, the reason I rap is to spread an inspirational message. I want to motivate people to become the best you that you can be. I also want to change the way people think about rap, because, to be honest, rap music has become more and more about sex, money, and drugs, and I want to provide a different perspective on what rap is. January Jamz is a new event that I'm doing in 2016. I will be releasing four songs in the month of January just so that there is some new music for people to listen to. Some of the January Jamz songs will be on The Pin while others may not. This event is just for my fans to have some new music to listen to since I haven't released anything for awhile. I have consulted with three of my advisors and they agree that this event will be beneficial for me as an artist.
After the January Jamz event, I will continue to work on The Pin. I will be adding to my merchandise collection and will be raising money for the album. The money will go towards the CD covers, CD production, merchandise, etc. So far I have recorded one song for the album. At this point I'm feeling really good about the project. I have spoken with many of my advisers on what I should do to improve certain aspects of my music and I have received tons of feedback. Some of the things they advised me to do were to increase the levels of my vocals. They said that the beat drowned out my voice, so I adjusted the levels.
I am currently working on a short film titled, "Pinned." I am currently working on the script for the film and I will be starting the recording process next week. "Pinned." will be a realistic-fiction story about the way Suave feels under pressure. Just finished recording a song for the album titled "Pinned." The song is about Suave's emotional troubles after the death of his cousin and how Suave feels about himself.
