Stay Up-to-date
Two weeks ago, I went to an event called Link Up Greater Houston at Houston Community College. At the event, I learned a lot about myself as a person. I met two DJs and a very important woman. Her name is Jenna Cooper. She asked me if I wanted to perform for her awareness for human trafficking event that is taking place on January 23rd, 2016, and I said yes. I will be creating a song that tells a story of a girl who was kidnapped and forced into sex trafficking. I have already written one verse and now I'm working on the chorus and the second verse. The address of the event is 1302 Dennis Street in Midtown, Houston and it will start at 4:30pm. On another note, I have almost finished up with January Jamz. I have some minor changes to fix and then I will be releasing the pre-ordered songs.

I have just started production of the CD labels for January Jamz. I have three of the four songs recorded, but over the next two weeks the recording process should be completed. Then it's just a matter of mixing the vocals with the beats.
I will be doing pre-order sales to anyone who wants a copy of the January Jamz collection for $2 each. The pre-ordered CDs will be signed, but hurry, because once 2016 starts, pre-orders will no longer be available. If you want a copy, make sure to email me before the end of the year. After January Jamz is completed, I will begin searching for open mic events to perform at around Houston. My goal is to extend my fanbase and spread my message. I already have a pretty loyal group of people following me, but I want to expand further. Recently, I've heard some great news from one of my fans. As you know, the reason I rap is to spread an inspirational message. I want to motivate people to become the best you that you can be. I also want to change the way people think about rap, because, to be honest, rap music has become more and more about sex, money, and drugs, and I want to provide a different perspective on what rap is. |
